Metal
Clay: Hollow Lentil Focal Bead and End Caps*
Create a beautifully textured hollow lentil bead accented with a semi-precious stone and matching end caps for a bead or chain necklace. This is a great way to learn about metal clay or improve on the skills you already have. Techniques covered include basic metal clay skills, setting prefab bezels or fire-in-place stones and hollow construction. Hollow lentil beads and custom end caps make a great addition to a Viking knit or chain maille necklace. Bead and end caps will be completed in class.
